What is Chroma-Key-Oke?
Karaoke:
NOUN: 1. A music entertainment system providing prerecorded accompaniment to popular songs that a performer sings live, usually by following the words on a video screen. 2. The performance of such music.
ETYMOLOGY: Japanese : kara, void, empty + oke(sutora), orchestra (from English orchestra).
Chroma-Key:
Also called Green Screening or Blue Screening. A video process used in Hollywood where a performer is filmed in front of a flatly lit evenly colored screen (usually green). The performer is then inserted, electronically, into a different background or special effect. ETYMOLOGY: Greek: Chroma, color + Middle English: Kae, key.

Your Bar, Restaurant or Club's opportunity for a unique entertainment experience. Rock Video's made live for your customers as they sing one of their favorite songs from our 16,000+ song library. A green screen is placed behind the karaoke stage. A video camera is mounted above the karaoke video monitor. A rock video is made by our system LIVE! The video is displayed live (with the karaoke words superimposed above) on video monitors through out the club. The performer may buy a VHS copy for a nominal fee.
